Bantayan Park: Fall inlove with the newest sunset boulevard of Negros!

​​Located at the heart of Bago City, awaits the newest gastrohub/sunset boulevard of Negros!

A kilometer strip DENR protected Bago River and with the efforts of the local governement, Bantayan Park was opened to the public as a new tourist destination of Bago City. Bantayan, from the Hiligaynon word “Balantayan” which means “a port or a place of waiting”. Served as a port during the spanish era and was the key spot during the bloodless revolution which leads to the freedom from spanish colonization. ​

Now Bantayan park is a recreational place for couples and the family. You’ll see old and new couples dating and expressing their love under the trees and families spending time with there kids and pets. 

Along the strip you’ll also see the new DENR satellite office for Negros Island Region, the Bago City Tourism Office, there gazebo, basketball courts, coffee shops and restaurants. 

The best time for you to visit the park is during early mornings and late afternoons. They offer fitness trainings during mornings and best sunset view during afternoons. They also have colorful lights installed on every trees during the Christmas season. We haven’t tried the food yet, but they offer wide range of seafoods in there menu and authentic Bago City food and delicacies.
